Sara Dorland, managing partner in the Ceres, specializes in providing risk management and financial consulting services to agriculture and food-based businesses with a particular focus on the dairy industry. Ms. Dorland has represented dairy producers, cooperatives, manufacturers and consumer products companies in risk management dealings nationwide. Ms. Dorland has also handled input cost management for dairy farmers and processors including hedging of natural gas, corn, alfalfa, soy oil and work with fuel and resin contracts.

Additionally, Ms. Dorland has worked with several firms providing agricultural accounting and financial analysis services. Projects include feasibility studies, milk shed evaluation and site selection process for several dairy processing facilities in the United States.

Ms. Dorland, through Ceres, is a member of American Dairy Products Institute, U.S. Dairy Export Council and National Milk Producers Federation.
