I grew up in Northern Utah. I attended Utah State University and obtained a degree in Civil Engineering. While at USU I met my wife Holly. Whe grew up in Corinne Utah where we now live. As students at USU we began our own business in an effort to support our education as a General Contractor and began raising our family of 5 children. In 2011 we had the opportunity to help on my wife's family farm in Corinne. We chose to give up our career as a Civil Engineer and a Contractor and continue the family farm. We became partners in the family farm in 2011 managing a dairy operation of 3,000 cows over several locations in Corine. In 2014 we lost my father in law and became sole owners and operators of 2500 acres of wheat, alfalfa and corn ground. We have raised our 5 children here close to the dairy and continue to work closely as a family farm, employing many close neighbors, friends, and several family members within several construction companies as well as the family farm and dairy. I am currently serving on the board for the Bear River Canal company as well as the Sustainability board for Dairy West representing Utah and Idaho in Sustainability efforts in agriculture.
