Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager
I purchase fluid milk and buy and sell cream, and other Class I and II raw ingredients across 9 dairy plants in 6 states and 5 marketing orders. My spend increasingly covers organic and other niche, high-value dairy varieties. I focus on supply chain optimization and support new project development while negotiating prices with trusted suppliers to give our grocery stores the lowest possible COGS for their milk, ice cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, and yogurt. I also provide the business with cheese and butter market insights and support my sourcing colleagues with commodity analysis across a broad spectrum of categories from resins and paper pulp, to beef and pork markets.
