Derek Gerratt is the Senior Vice President of Crop Insurance at AgWest Farm Credit, specializing in risk management for livestock and dairy operations, as well as small grains and row crops. Residing in Twin Falls, Derek combines his knowledge with practical experience, having grown up on a dairy farm in the Magic Valley.

He holds bachelor’s degrees in accounting and agribusiness from Utah State University, providing him with a solid foundation in both financial and agricultural principles. Derek is also a graduate of the Leadership Idaho Agricultural Program. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is actively involved in the community, serving on the board of Idaho Agriculture in the Classroom.
Derek and his wife, along with their three sons, balance professional commitments with a strong dedication to family, church, and agriculture.
